Operator shall maintain a standard workmens • <br /> w. <br /> 3. <br /> compensation and employers policy of insurance conforming <br /> to the requirements of applica.ble statute covering all <br /> employees employed by Operator pursuant to this contract, <br /> and shall furnish the usual certificate to the City attesting <br /> the fact that such insurance has been obtained and is in <br /> force. <br /> 9 . Operator shall furnish the City with written <br /> evidence of a contract or contracts of insurance with a <br /> reliable company or companies, authorized to do business <br /> in the State of Illinois and approved by City, by which <br /> contracts both the Operator and City are insured against <br /> any claim, demand or loss for injury to persons or damage to <br /> property resulting from, growing out of or connected with <br /> the operation of the facilities aforesaid and any act <br /> or omission to act by Operator, or any of Operator ' s <br /> employees , which said contract or contracts of insurance <br /> shall have limi ts in amount not less than $500 ,000 per <br /> occurrence, except that this obligation shall not require <br /> the Operator to furnish insurance aaainst injury to persons <br />
