That there is hereby specifically excluded �, <br /> from the grant and permission hereby given the right, privilege, <br />' pennission and authority to, in any way, engage in the manufacture, <br /> transmission or distribution or electricity or electrical or <br /> electronic energy used for heat, light, or power, or for the <br /> transmission of inessages and other purposes commonly included <br /> in that which is known as the general telephone business . <br /> Section 3. That the right, privilege, permission and <br /> autho rity hereby granted is not exclusive, and there is hereby <br /> reserved to the City the right, power and authority to grant <br /> similar rights, privileges , permission and authority to any <br /> person or persons , firm or firms , corporation or corporations <br /> at any time and from time to time. <br /> Section 4 . That the Company shall pay to the City in <br /> quarterly installments within thirty days after March 31 , <br /> June 30 , September 30 and December 31 , of each year a sum equal <br /> to five percent of the annual gross receipts of the Company <br /> arising by reason of the existence and operation of said system <br /> within the City, except gross receipts derived from pay <br /> television as to which the Company shall pay five percent of <br /> seventy-five percent of said gross receipts . <br /> Section 5 . That the Company shall furnish to the City <br /> upon request by it such reports , documents and information <br /> reasonably necessary to enable the City to verify the payments <br /> to it by the Company and shall afford the City the right to <br />
