• `, � X � „ • ���� <br /> i <br /> '� ORDINANCE N0. 80-75 <br /> ORDINANCE MODIFYING CHARGES FOR USE OF MOTOR <br /> VEHICLE PARKING SYSTEM GAR.AGE FACILITIES <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to and in accordance with the provisions of <br /> ordinance for the issuance of revenue bonds by which funds were <br /> acquired for the pizrpose of acquiring and constructing facilities of <br /> the Motor Vehicle Parking System of the City, a required survey and <br /> study of the operation of said system and a report based thereon has <br /> been made by Barton-Aschman Associates wherein said consultants <br /> recommend that charges for the use of certain of the facilities of said <br /> system be modified in order to encourage an increase in the total <br /> receipts of said system so that the various required funds and accounts <br /> therein can better be funded and the obligation of the City to the <br /> bond holders can better be met. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS : <br /> SEction 1. That in accordance with and pursuant to the <br /> applicable provisions of Chapter 3Q of the City Code and to the <br /> provisions of other ordinances of the City, and until the further <br /> order of the Council, certain of the charges for the use of certain <br /> of the facilities of the Motor Vehicle Parking System of the City be, <br /> Cand the same are hereby, modifzed as hereinafter set out herein. <br /> Section 2 . That the rates and charges currently in e�fect <br /> for use of spaces in those facilities of the Motor Vehicle Park�ng <br /> System not e�ressl.y mentioned herein shall continue to be charged <br /> and collected until the further order of the Council. <br /> Secti.on 3. That the hourly charges or rates for occupancy of <br /> each space in those facilities of said system designated as garages <br /> A anci B be, and the same are hereby, changed, modified and established <br /> as follows : <br /> (a) For any period of one hour or less , 25¢; <br /> (b) For any cont3nuous period of one to eight hours , <br /> 25¢ �or the first hour and 10¢ for ea�ch half-hour, or <br /> fractional part of a half-hour, after the first hour; <br /> (c) For any continuous period of eight to twelve hours , <br /> $1 . 50 ; <br />
