Section 7. This ordinance and the Code, as modified thereby <br /> shall be administered b th B i in Official throu h the Ins ection <br /> y e u d g g p <br /> Division of the Department of Co�munity Development which, among <br /> other things, is authorized here y to cause stop orders to be <br /> issued and enforced as to any wo k not in conformance and compliance <br /> with the provisions thereof, or f the reasonable rules and <br /> regulations promulgated to imple ent the same. <br /> Section 8 . Unless, becaus of the nature or extent of the <br /> work, the Building Official dete mines that a permit should be for <br /> a term longer than three months nd so endorses such longer term on <br /> the face thereof, all permits no so endorsed shall expire and be <br /> void three months from the date he same are issued. <br /> Section 9 . It shall be un awful for any person, firm or <br /> � <br /> corporation to install, repair, aintain, alter or extend plumbing, <br /> or a plumbing system, or plumbin fixture or appliance regulated by <br /> said Code or this ordinance or c use the same to be done, contrary <br /> to or in conflict with or in vio ation of any of the provisions <br /> hereof or thereof. It shall be lawful to continue work after a <br /> stop order has been issued, serv d or posted under said provisions . <br /> Any person, firm or corporation, violating or found to be in <br /> violation of any of said provisi ns shall upon conviction thereof <br /> be fined not to exceed $500 .00 . <br /> Section 10 . The imposition of the penalties herein prescribed <br /> shall not preclude the institutian of appropriate action to prevent, <br /> abate or to stop acts, activities , or maintenance or work or systems <br /> not in compliance with code or o�dinance in or about any premises . <br />
