official shall designate and a rove the number and location of fire <br /> hydrants. The fire official may require the installation of sufficient <br /> fire hose and equipment housed in accordance with the approved rules <br /> and may require the establishm t of a trained fire brigade when <br /> the hazard involved requires s ch measures. Private hydrants shall <br /> not be placed into or removed rom service until approved by the <br /> fire official. <br /> 13. A person shall not o struct, remove, tamper with or other- <br /> wise disturb any fire hydrant r fire appliance required to be installed <br /> or maintained under the provis ' ns of the Fire Prevention Code, except <br /> for the purpose of extinguishi g fire, training or testing purposes, <br /> recharging, or making n�ecessar repairs , or when permitted by the <br /> fire official, provided howeverl, that the provisions hereof shall be <br /> subject to the provisions of Sqction 20 of Chapter 64 of this Code. <br /> Whenever a fire hydrant or app iance is removed as herein permitted, <br /> it shall be replaced or re-ins alled as soon as the purpose for <br /> which it was removed has been ccomplished. Defective and non-approved <br /> fire hydrants, appliances or e uipment shall be replaced or repaired <br /> as directed by the fire offici l. No hydrants shall be removed from <br /> service unless approved by the fire official . <br /> 14 . A person shall not s�ll, trade, loan or give away any form, <br /> type or kind of fire extinguisher which is not approved by the fire <br /> official, or which is not in proper working order, or the contents <br /> of which do not meet the requi ements of the fire official. The <br /> requirements of this section s all not apply to the sale, trade or <br /> exchange of obsolete or damage equipment for junk and said units are <br /> permanently disfigured or mark d with permanent sign identifying <br /> them as junk <br />
