l <br /> Section 4 . Whenever in said Code reference is made to the <br /> authority having jurisdiction such shall be taken to mean and shall <br /> be construed to refer to the Superintendent of Inspections as fully <br /> as if said designation was set out therein. <br /> Section 5 . Whenever in said Code reference is made to the <br /> board of appeals such shall be taken to mean and shall be construed <br /> to refer to the Construction and Housing Board of Appeals of the <br /> City to which appeals of orders , decisions or determinations of the <br /> Superintendent may be taken. <br /> Section 6. In amplification, clarification or addition to the <br /> provisions of said Electrical Code the following provisions shall apply: <br /> (a) Service conductors shall be sized as provided in said <br /> Code, but not less in capacity than 80� of the total ampacity <br /> of the service equipment switches or circuit breakers, or 80� of <br /> the bus bar rating of the service equipment whichever is the <br /> greater. <br /> (b) T�e sum of the ampacities of all switches or circuit <br /> breakers shall not exceed 125$ bf the bus bar rating of the <br /> service equipment. <br /> (c) Service disconnecting means shall be located as in said Code <br /> provided and shall be installed either inside or outside of <br /> a structure at a readily accessible location not more than ten feet <br /> from the nearest point of entry of the service entrance conductors . <br /> (d) Any electrical conduit or pole or support carrying such <br /> conduit or any electrical equipment in the city not properly <br /> insulated or installed in accordance with the provisions <br /> of this ordinance and the Code adopted hereby or with <br /> other ordinances and codes of the city or franchise <br /> - 2 - <br />
