agreement between the city and utilities or licenses or <br /> standards granted or adopted by the city,as the case may <br /> be, or which causes any unnecessary risk for or danger of injury <br /> to persons or property is hereby declared to be a nuisance <br /> and the Superintendent of Inspections is hereby authorized to <br /> cause abatement of the same and to cause such condition to be <br /> remedied or removed, provided, however, that nothing in this <br /> section shall be construed to exempt any person, firm or <br /> corporation from liability to the city or to any other person, <br /> firm or corporation from liability to the city or to any other <br /> person, firm or corporation for damages resulting from, <br /> connected with or growing out of the installation, construction, <br /> or maintenance of such conduit, pole, support or equipment nor to <br /> affect any franchise or license heretofore or hereafter granted <br /> by the city. <br /> Section 7. It shall be unlawful to do electrical work in the <br /> City unless and until permit for the same has been obtained when <br /> required by and issued in accordance with the provisions of the Building <br /> Code and the Building Ordinance. � <br /> Section 8 . The amount of the fee required to accompany the <br /> application for a permit and to be paid to the City Treasurer shall <br /> be determined by the building official based upon the value of <br /> the propsed work in amounts as follows : <br /> Work Value Fee <br /> $400 or less $10 <br /> $401 - $700 $I2 <br /> - 3 - <br />
