'' C � <br /> AN ORDINANCE ANrIEXING TERRITORY TO THE <br /> CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS <br /> WHEREAS , there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of <br />, Decatur, Illinois , the sworn petition of Isaac P�. Leming, et al <br /> requesting that premises described as : <br /> Lots 2 , 3 , 4 , and 32 of McCaleb Subdivision to the <br /> City of Decatur, Illinois as per Plat recorded in Book <br /> 300 Page 130 of the records in the Recorder' s Office of <br /> Macon Coun tv <br /> , Illinois <br /> be annexed to the City of Decatur, Illinois; and, <br /> WHEREAS , it is shown by affidavit that said petition is signed by <br /> all of the owners of record of said premises and by all of the <br /> electors residing therein; and, <br /> WHEREAS , said territory is contiguous to the City of Decatur, <br /> Illinois , and is not a part of any City, Village, Incorporated Town, <br /> or other Municipality; and, <br /> WHEREAS , notice of the intention to take action on annexation <br /> of said territory has been given as provided by statute. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS : <br /> Section 1. T'Zat the said territory hereinabove described along <br /> with all parts of public highways therein or ne:ct and adjacent thereto <br /> not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the sa.r.�e are hereby, annexed <br /> to and are incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, <br /> Illinois. <br /> Section 2 . That a plat of said annexed premises is attached <br /> hereto and :nade a part �ereof. <br /> Section 3.
