AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TER�ITORY TO THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS WHEREAS , there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Decatur, Illinois, the sworn petition of Isaac M. Leming, et al requesting that premises described as : Lots 2 , 3 , 4 , and 32 of McCaleb Subdivision to the City of Decatur, Illinois as per Plat recorded in Book 300 Page 130 of the records in the Recorder' s Office of Macon Covnty , Illinois , be annexed to the City of Decatur, Illinois ; and, WHEREAS , it is shown by affidavit that said petition is signed by all of the owners of record of said premises and by all of the electors residing therein; and, WHEREAS , said ter=itory is contiguous to the City of Decatur, Illinois, and is not a part of any City, Village, Incorporated Town, or other Municipality; and, WI�REAS , notice of the intention to take action cn annexation of said territory has been given as provided by statute. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, TLLINOIS: Section 1. That the said territory hereinabove described along with all parts of public highways therein or next and adjacent thereto not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the sa,r.te are hereby , annexed '� to and are incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, I?linois . Section 2 . That a plat of said annexed premises is attached hereto and made a part hereof. Section 3. That the City Cler3c cause certified copies of this or3inance to be respectively filed with the Cot:nty Cler�c and recorded by thz Recorder of Deeds of Macon County, Illinois .
