�II�RO}rA.MED <br /> ORDINANCE NO. g� �� <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE <br /> CHAPTER 49 ALCOAOLIC LIQUORS <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the City Code of the City of Decatur, Illinois , <br /> be , and the same is hereby amended at Sections l , 2 and 3 of <br /> Chapter 49 thereof so that said Sections as so amended shall provide <br /> as follows : <br /> 1. Words and phrases in this Chapter which are <br /> defined in applicable statute shall have and be given <br /> the same meaning and definition as therein set out <br /> unless expressly otherwise provided herein. <br /> 2. The Mayor shall be the Local Liquor Control <br /> Commissioner with such duties and powers as may be <br /> provided by law or ordinance . <br /> 3. No person, firm or corporation shall sell <br /> alcoholic liquor at retail without then having a <br /> currently in force local liquor license issued to such <br /> person or entity as provided herein for the premises <br /> whereon such sale takes place. Each license and the <br /> privileges thereunder shall expire and terminate on <br /> the 30th day of June next following the issue date <br /> thereof. <br /> Section 2 . That said Chapter of said Code be, and the same is <br /> hereby further amended at Section 6 thereof so that said Section as <br /> so amended shall provide as foll�ws : <br /> 6 . A license fee of $1 ,250 . 00 shall be paid and <br /> shall accompany each application, except applications for <br /> the license period commencing July l , 1978, or any part <br /> thereof, which may be accompanied by payment of $625 . 00 with <br /> payment of $625 . 00 deferred to become due and payable on <br /> or before January 3, 1979 . A permit fee of $10 .00 per day <br /> shall be paid and shall accompany the request for a <br /> temporary permit. There shall be no prorate or rebate of fee <br /> ance paid and the same shall be refunded only in the event <br /> license or permit is not issued responsive to such application <br /> or request. <br />
