Zhe City Manager is authorized and �npawered to appoint and Appo�nt�nent <br /> and Re�tnval <br /> to re�iove the chiefs and dixectors of depart�ents, assi.stant chiefs, <br /> and assistant or cleputy directors of depar�ents, fire marshalls, <br /> police cadets, police personnel above the rank of lieutenant, <br /> adnunistrative assistants, superintendents of builcling in�ctions <br /> and of streets and sewpxs, one secretary to the City Manager and <br /> one to each degart�nt di.rector, members of the legal departrnent, <br /> coordinators of the office on aging and of c�arnmity programs, <br /> �muzity renewal coordixiator, s�ervisors of accounting, chief <br /> planners, city engi.neers, and te.n�orary and seasanal �layees. <br /> 3. Officers of the City and members of Boards or Conmissions Oath <br /> of the City, shall, before enter�ng �on their duties, take the oath <br /> prescribed by law. <br /> 4.
