77-94 PROVIDING FOR THE LOCAL IMPROVEMENT BY THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SYSTEM OF SANITARY SEWERS KNOWN AS CRESTWOOD SPECIAL ASSESSMENT SANITARY SEWER DISTRICT

• TS` . each and every proceeding shall accord with and b.e governed by an Act of the General Assembly of Illinois , entitled, "Local Improvements , " being Chapter 24, Illinois Revised Statutes; Article 9, and alI acts , amendatory thereof , i SECTION 15 : BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that management. of said II improvement shall be under the general supervision of the Board of I� Local Improvements of the C'ity �of Decatur, Illinois. SECTION 16 : BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Corporation Counse2 of the said City � of Decatur , be and he is hereby authorized - and directed to file a petition in the Circuit Court of MacQn County, Illinois , in the name of the City of Decatur , Illinois, praying that steps may be taken to ascertain the compensation to be made for private property to be taken or damaged for such improvement, and for the purposes specified in this Ordiaance, and to ascertain what property will be benefited by such improvement, and the amount of such benefits to be levied for such improvement in accordance with the provisions of this Ordinance and in the manner prescribed by law. SECTION 17: BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that for the purpose of 4 anticipating the collection of the s�econd and succeeding installments of said Special Assessment for said improvement, the said City of Decatur, Illinois , shall issue Vouchers and/or bonds payable out of said installments , bearing interest at the rate of seven percent (7x) per annum, payable when collected, and signed by the Mayor and City Clerk of said City, under the Corporate Seal of the said City of Decatur, Illinois ; said Vouchers and/or bonds to be fssued in accordance with and conforming in all respects to the provisions of Article 9 of the Act above referred to . SECTION 18 : BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the costs of the improvement, including engineering costs for planning, construction, supervision, court costs , attorneys ' fees and the cost of spreading the assessment upon the property benefited as provided by law, and that the estimate of the cost of said improvement certified over the signature of the President of the Board of Local Improvements and the Public Works Director of the said City , as presented to and approved by the Board of Local Improvements , is attached hereto.
