f ^ • 4 •, � <br /> • �,C� <br /> ORDINANCE NO. �I�� <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING ELECTRICAL CODE <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section l. That Ordinance No. 5054 , passed and approved the <br /> 19th day of August, 1968, and subsequently from time to time amended, <br /> be, and the same is hereby, further amended at Sections 19 , 20, 21 . d. , <br /> 31 and 39, so that the same, as so amended, shall provide as follows : <br /> 19. It shall be unlawful to make electrical installations <br /> or alterations in the City without causing the same to be inspected <br /> and approved by the Inspection Division. Those making electrical <br /> installations or alterations shall give such timely notice <br /> requesting inspection as said Division shall require for each <br /> inspection to be made. Not less than the following three <br /> enumerated inspections are each of them, required: <br /> a. Rough in, an initial inspection when the work is <br /> completely roughed in and before any work is <br /> covered; <br /> b. Interim, an inspection after all electrical <br /> equipment, appliances and devises have been <br /> electrically connected; and, <br /> c. Final , an inspection when all electrical systems <br /> are completed and no further work is required. <br /> In the event that any defect is found in the work, or any part <br />' thereof has been enclosed, or if for any other reason the work <br /> is not ready for inspection so that the inspector must return <br /> f w rk re est for <br /> for a further inspection at any stage o the o , qu <br /> such reinspection shall be accompanied by the payment of a fee <br />
