For installation of electrical heating systems <br /> a permit upon payment of the fee as provided <br /> by Section 25. of Ordinance No. 5042 as amended <br /> by Ordinance No. 6006. <br /> * * * * * * <br /> 31. When an existing residential structure is rewired, <br /> at least one wall switched ceiling or wall light and two duplex <br /> convenience receptacles, or one wall switched duplex convenience <br /> receptacle and not less than one other duplex convenience <br /> receptacle shall be provided in each room except bathrooms. <br /> Bathrooms in such structures shall be provided with not less <br /> than one wall switched lighting fixture and one duplex convenience <br /> receptacle separate from said lighting fixture. National Electri- <br /> cal Code requirements for protection for bathroom receptacles <br /> in said structures may be waived by the owner and filed with <br /> the application for the required permit. Electrical contractors <br /> shall inform the owners of such structures of such waiver option. <br /> An outside receptacle may be waived, but if installed must be <br /> protected by a ground fault interrupter. <br /> * * * * * * <br />
