<br /> ' ' AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AN R-3 RESIDENCE DEVELOPMENT PLAN
<br /> - SIMS KNOLLS ADDITION -
<br /> WHEREAS, on the lst day of July, 1976, after notice as required
<br /> b law and ordinance the Decatur Cit Plan Commission held a ublic
<br /> Y . Y P
<br /> hearing upon the petition of J. Everett Sims and Marjorie M. Sims for
<br /> a permit to construct, maintain and operate an R-3 Residence Development
<br /> Plan on premises in the City of Decatur, Illinois, legally described as :
<br /> A part of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of the Southeast
<br /> Quarter (SE 1/4) of Section 8 and part of the Northwest Quarter
<br /> (NW 1/4) of the Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4) of Section 8 , all in
<br /> Township 16 North, Range 2 East of the 3rd Principal Meridian,
<br /> Macon County, Illinois, and more particularly described as follows :
<br /> Beginning at the Southeast corner of said NE 1/4 , SE 1/4 ,
<br /> Sec. 8; thence West 730. 00 feet along the South line of said
<br /> NE 1/4 , SE 1/4 , Sec. 8 ; thence North 540. 00 feet along a line
<br /> perpendicular to said South line; thence Northwesterly to a
<br /> point on the North line of the South 30 . 00 acres of aforesaid
<br /> NW 1/4 , SE 1/4 , Sec. 8, said point being 670. 00 feet West of the
<br /> East line of said NW 1/4 , SE 1/4 , Sec. 8; thence East 670. 00
<br /> feet along said North line to a point on the East line of said
<br /> NW 1/4 , SE 1/4 , Sec. 8 , said point being 334 .27 feet South of the
<br /> Northeast corner thereof; thence South 32 . 00 feet to the South
<br /> line of the North 11. 00 acres of aforesaid NE 1/4 , SE 1/4 , Sec.
<br /> 8 ; thence East 1307. 72 feet along said South line to a point on
<br /> the East line of said NE 1/4 , SE 1/4 , Sec. 8 , said point being
<br /> 366 . 29 feet South of the Northea5t corner thereof; thence South
<br /> 941. 56 feet to the place of beginning. Containing in all 21.4
<br /> acres , more or lessj
<br /> and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said Decatur City Plan Commission has reported that the
<br /> proposed Residence Development Plan meets the conditions as set out in
<br /> the Zoning Ordinance, the same being Ordinance No. 3512 , as amended, at
<br /> Section XXI.C. thereof and did recommend that said Residence Development
<br /> Plan be permitted and did file a report of its findings with the Council
<br /> in support of said recommendation.
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS :
<br /> Section 1. That the findings , report and recommendation of the
<br /> Decatur City Plan Commission be received, placed on file and approved.
<br /> Section 2 . That upon the conditions hereinafter mentioned, the
<br /> construction, maintenance and operation of an R-3 Residence Development
<br /> Plan be, and the same is hereby, permitted and approved, and a permit
<br /> for the same be, and the same is hereby, granted as provided in Section
<br /> XXI of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Decatur, Illinois , the same
<br /> being Ordinance No. 3512 , as amended.
