t �'. � � <br /> 7, Except for those provisions thereof excluded hereby the pro- <br /> visions o� the Fire Prevention Code, 1970 Edition, and the Appendicies <br /> thereto, of the American Insurance Association, and th� provisions of <br /> the Rules and Regulations Relating To The Storage, Transportation, Sale <br /> and Use of Gasoline and Volatile Oils promulgated by the Depaztment of <br /> Law Enforcement o� the State of Illinois, are adopted by reference to be <br /> effective within the jurisdiction of the City; provided that those provi- <br /> sions thereof amended hereby are adopted as so amended. Excluded from <br /> adoption are any provisions of said Fire Prevention Code, other than the <br /> provisions of Article 12, 16 and 21 thereof, which requires a permit, but <br /> only to the extent of such requirement, and sections l.a. (2) and section <br /> 4, of Appendix B of said Code. Adopted as amended are the provisions of <br /> Sectian 12.3 of said Code, amended by deleting the w�ords "or small arms <br /> ammunition" therefrom, and Section 16.994g of said Code, amended by sub- <br /> stituting the word "one" in lieu of the cwrd "two" therein. Violation o� <br /> the adopted provisions of said Code or said Rules and Regulations is a vio- <br /> lation of the provisions of this Chapter and shall be prosecuted as such <br /> as provided in this Qiapter. In the event of inconsistency among the pro- <br /> visi�ns of this Chapter, the Fire Prevention Code, or said Rules and Regu- <br /> lations, the provisions of this Chapter shall take precedence in application, <br /> followed by the provisions of said Rules and Regulations. <br /> 8. No person, firm, corporation, governmental unit or other entity <br /> shall keep, store, transport, transfer, sell, deliver or u5e within tne cor- <br /> porate limits of the City any petroleum product, gasoline, volatile oils, or <br /> other volatile combustibles or compounds in such manner or under such cir- <br /> cumstances as to jeopardize life or property, or in violation of any provi- <br /> sion of the City Code, or any provision of said Fire Prevention Code or said <br /> Rules and Regulations adopted by this Chapter. <br /> 9. The driver or operator or attendant of any tank vehicle when trans- <br /> ferring Class I or II flammable liquids to or from such vehicle shall remain <br /> outside the same and in constant attendance thereat at all times during such <br /> operation. No person sha11 carry or possess any ignited, smoking, smoldering <br /> oY tlaming substance in the vicinity of such operation, or expose the same <br /> to open flame, during the course thereof.
