G � � <br /> AN ORDINANCE AVrHORIZING ACQUISITION OF <br /> PREMISES BY EMINENT DOMAIN OR OTHERWISE- <br /> VH <br /> CITY PROJECT 7326 - MASS TRANSIT <br /> WEiEREAS, The City of Decatur, Illinois, has acquired, and now <br /> owns and aperates a public utility for the transportation of per- <br /> sons; and, <br /> WI�REAS, The City osvn� a building used for and as a part of said <br /> public utility, which said building is situated on premises easterly <br /> of and next and adjacent to premises hereinafter described; and, I <br /> WHEREAS, it appears to the Council to be necessary aad desirable <br /> to provide access to the second story of said buildicng and the offices <br /> therein located from the premises hereinafter described so as to make <br /> the same nore conveniently acces�ible to physically handicapped persons; <br /> and, <br /> Wi-�REAS, it appeaYs to the Council to be necessary and desirable <br /> to provide additional motor vehicle parking facilities at said build- <br /> ing in support of its use as part of said public ut ility; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City, in addition to the building and premises owned <br /> by it and situated as aforesaid, further owns premises next and adjacent <br /> to the premises hereinafter described and upon the northerly and v�sterly <br /> sides thereof; and, <br /> WWI�RS,AS, those premi�es of the City la�t aforesaid are used by the <br /> City for motor vehicle parking facilities in connection with the Coun- <br /> cil chamber� and City motor vehicle maintenance and repair garage located <br /> thereat or near thereto; and, <br />
