2 <br /> WI�REAS, it appears to the Oouncil that additional and enlarged <br /> motor vehicle parking facilities need to be provided at said Council <br /> Chambers - garage building; and, <br /> WHEREA5, the City has established a plan for the provision of the <br /> access and parking facility improvea�ents as described herein; and, <br /> t�REAS, it appears to the Council to be necessary and desirable <br /> in furtY�rance of the public purposes aforesaid that the premises <br /> hereinafter described be acquired to carry out said plan and that the <br /> same be acquired, improved and devoted for and to said public purposes. <br /> N�W� THEREFORE� BE IT ORDAINED BY THE O�UNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR� ILLII�OISt <br /> Section 1. That it be, and it i� hereby, determine d that the <br /> foregoing recitals herein are true and correct and that the motor ve- <br /> hicle parking facilities at the City owned buQ garage and office build- <br /> ing, and at the City owned Council Chambers - motor vehicle maintenance <br /> and repair garage building be enlarged and improved and that access to <br /> the aecond floor of said bus garage and office building be provided from <br /> such enlarged and improved parking facilities�, and that the same be used, <br /> occupied and improved for use in connection with and ancillary to the pur- <br /> poses aforesaid in a manner necessary and convenient for public use. <br />
