That the Electrical Code, the same being Ordinance No. 5054, passed August 29, 1968, as amended, be, and the same is hereby, amended at Sections 2, 6, 7, 9, 14, 19, 20, 24, 35 and 43 thereof so that said Sections as so amended shall provide as _follows: "Section 2. DJhenever the words Inspection Division are used herein, it shall refer to the Inspection Division of the Depa rtment of Community Development of the City of Decatur, Illinois, which division includes the office of Chief �I.ectrical Inspector and said division shall have the duties, responsibilities, powers an d authorities pre- scribed by ordinance and by codes adopted thereby. � a� � "Section 6. No person shall be registered as an electrical contractor under the provisions of this ordi- , nance until he shall have made application therefore, shall have paid the registration fee required hereby, and except in the case of renewal of registration,shall ' have satisfactorily passed the examinat ion required by the provisions hereof, except that a person currently registered or licensed as an electrical contractor by a , municipality in the State of Illinois �exein his prin- cipal place of business is located may be registered in. this City without payment of such fee and without exam- ination if the Electrical Commission is otherwise satis- fied said person is sufficiently experienced and quali- fied to meet the minimum requireme nts for registration under this ordinance. * � � "Section ?. The annual registration fee for re.gis- tration as an electrical contractor shall be $25.00. The fee for examination shall be $25.00 for each examin- ation. No person shall be eligible for examination un- less such person sha11 ha�e had not less than four years experience in electrical work. Any eligible person desir- ing to engage in the business of eZectrical contractor shall make application ror registration as such to the Inspection Division upon forms prescribed and furnished by said division, which application shall be accompanied by a xeceipt showing payment to the Treasurer of the City oi' Decatur of both said annual registration fee and said examination fee.
