The Inspection Division shall inspect and approve all installations and alterations and may require timely notice from the contractor of the commence- ment and completion of work and of su ch inte rim stages of work where, depending upon the nature, extent or com- plexity thereof interim inspections are either necessary or desirable and may issue for use by the permittee or contractor such notices, cards or other things as may be desirable in giving notice or making request ior inspection which said cards, notices or other things if issued by the Inspection Division shall be used as directed thereby.
