. 1 . � L . . <br /> f ' <br /> �7� <br /> line of Lot Four (4) of Goodwin 's Resurvey a distance of 90 feet with <br /> a 6 inch Service to a Cleanout. <br /> Also, commencing at a point on an existing 6 inch Service, <br /> which said point is located upon the South right-of-way line of East <br /> William Street Road, thence Southerly on a line parallel with and 5 feet <br /> 6aest of the East line of Lot Eight (8) of Goodwin's Resurvey a distanee <br /> of 130 feet with a 6 inch Service to a Cleanout. <br /> SECTION 5 . The said Sanitary Sewer improvement consists of <br /> vitrified clay sewer pipe with tee branches laid with type one flexible, <br /> water tight joints , concre'te encasement of vitrified pipe sewers at <br /> selected locations, city standard manholes, concrete encased 8 inch <br /> vitrified drop connections at drop manholes, improved street surface <br /> restoration to the specifications included; protection, care and <br /> replacement of all existing underground and above ground utilities in <br /> the lineup, or near, said improvements; and all necessary appurtenances <br /> thereto required to complete the sanitary sewer system. <br /> The slopes of all gravity sanitary sewers are given in percentage <br /> and all sections have a uniform grade. No sewer shall have a flow velocity <br /> of less than 2 .5 feet per second and none shall have a flow velocity <br /> exceeding 12 feet per second. Minimum and Maximum grades are as shown <br /> on the det�iled plans . <br /> The pipes and fittings for the sanitary sewer system are to be <br /> first quality vitrified clay complying to the lates� standards of the <br /> American Society of Testing Materials, Designation C-200 or C-278 or the <br /> latest addition thereto. <br /> �Iitrified clav sewer� are to be laid o; r � _• , <br /> �:.�. �.ven, �1r,u ,�ed i.uruugii- <br /> out the full length of the barrel so that no uneven strain will come an <br /> any pipe , and particular care will be exercised to prevent the pipes <br /> bearing on the sockets or bells . Excavations shall be carefully made to <br /> receive the bells . Each pipe is to be laid in conformity with the line <br /> and levels therefor, and in the presence of an inspector from the engineers . <br /> The socket end of all pipe is to be laid upgrade.
