No person shall withi n the City own a dog unless such dog Mus� be is regis�exed and a registration tag is worn by said dog as herein Reg:�stered provided. 27. Animals taken up under �he foregoing provisions here�f Imp�undment shall be impounded in some suitable place provided by the Ci�y by 7 Days contract or othexwa.se. Animals shall be impounded for not less r than seven days aftex the giving of notice as herein provided, unless earlier redeem�d by the owner as hereir�after pzovided. 28. Within 4hir�y-six hours after an animal is imoounded the Noti.ce of An�.mal Cont�ol Warden shall give no�tice thareot a� fc�llows: Impounciing (a) xf such animal has a registration tag upon ii�, a notice sha�l be �nailed to the ownex whose name appears on the registra- tion certi�icate with L-he carrespoYiding nu�nber, at the address shown on �ai.d reg?stration certificate. Such notice shal7, sh��r the � date, time and place ot ia�po•undr�e irt, the registYa�ion tag number, and shall recite the �naa�ner by w�ich 5aid animal may b� r�deemed.
