5911 MODIFYING CHARGES FOR USE OF MOTOR VEHICLE PARKING SYSTEM FACILITIES AND AMENDING CERTAIN ORDINANCES WITH REGARD THERETO

That the monthly ckzarges or rates for other than hourly parking in spaces he retofore designated by the Council for otner than hourly parking in said GaragEs A, B and C and in Motor Vehicle Parking System Lots No. 2 and 3 be, and the same are here- by, respectively increased $3.00 per month so that, as of the ef- fect ivE da te her eof, those pe rmi ts for which the cha rge was forme r ly $8.00 per month be, and the same are he reby, increased to $11.00 per month; and those permits for which the charge �vas formerl y $9.00 per month be, and the same are he reby, increased to $12.00 per month; and those permits for �ich the charge was formerly $10.00 per month be, and the same are hereby, increased to $13.00; and those permits for �ich the charge was formerly $12.00 pe r month be, and the same are here by, increased to $15.00. Section 4. That the charge or rate f'or parking in saia system Garage A and B by the use of permits, tokens, passes, certi=icates, receipts or stamps or other documen ts as ordained by Ordinance No. 4999 at the rate of $14.00 for 26 days of parking be, and the same are h ereby, increased from $14.00 to $20.00. Section 5. That the charge or rate here tofore ordained for metered parking in said system Lots 4 and 5 be, and the same are hereby, increasea to 5� for each 15 minutes period in lieu of the charges or rates heretofore established for spaces in said facili- ties. Section 6. That the cha rge or rate for tha t certain system of paying foY the use of said system Garages A, B and C canmonly known as validation parking, as estabI.ished under the authority of the prov isions oi Ordinance No. 5593 be, and the same is hereby, increased from 12� per hour for each hour of such parking to 13� per hou r, Section 7. That the applicable provisions of ordinance set out in Ordinances No. 4715, 4998, 4999, 5151, 5170, 5171, 5172, 5174, 5262, 5439 and 5593 be, and the same are here by, arnended to conform with the provisions of this ordinance, other�uise �he applicable pro- visions of the City Code and otl�er ordinances shall remain in full force and eifect. Section 8. That the City Mana ger be, and he is hereo}r, authori- zed ar�d directed to cause to be ta ken all necessary steps and actio ns reasonably requixed to carry out the intent and purpose of the provi- sions oF this ordinance.
