The <br /> neutral bar of the service disconnecting device shall be grounded <br /> to the water supply, using wire to pipe ground clamps and No. 4 <br /> copper wire eithe r attached to the water supply pipe on the street <br /> side of the water meter or attached to the nearest cold v�rater pipe <br /> with a No. 4 copper wire jumper placed around the water meter �ng <br /> enough that the water meter can be removed withaut di�connecting <br /> the jumper. The driven ground shall be a continuous length of 5/8 <br /> inch copper clad steel rod driven into the ground not less than 8 <br /> feet. The connect ion Prom the meter socket to the driven copper <br /> clad steel ground rod shall be minimum No. 4 copper wire from the <br /> neutral bar or lug in the meter socket to the driven ground rod. <br /> The copper wire shall be installed in rigid nonmetallic conduit, <br /> properly connected to the meter socket and extending into the ground <br /> not less than 6 inches below grakde. The rigid nonmetallic conduit <br /> shall be supported by not less than one approved clamp to the struc- <br /> ture. The Inspection Division may approVe alternate grounding <br /> methods when such cannot pxacticably be done as prescribed herein. <br /> * � � <br /> Section 36. When electrical equipment is installed in multi- <br /> unit dwelling structures, whether apartments or condominiums, ser- <br /> vice equipment wiring shall be placed in approved rigid conduit, <br /> and feeder and subfeeder circuit wiring shall be placed in approved <br /> electrical metallic tu bing, however branch circuits in individual <br /> dwelling units may be wired with approved grounded non-metallic <br /> sheathed cable. <br /> � � * <br /> Section 2. That the provisi ons of said Ordinance No. 5054, as here� <br /> to�ore amended, not otherwise amended by this ordinance be, and the same <br /> are hereby, continued in full force and affect. <br />
