. ,'�' •`�A'� t 4 * � � Section 27. Service entries shall be grounded both to a driven ground and to the water supply of the structures. The neutral bar of the service disconnecting device shall be grounded to the water supply, using wire to pipe ground clamps and No. 4 copper wire eithe r attached to the water supply pipe on the street side of the water meter or attached to the nearest cold v�rater pipe with a No. 4 copper wire jumper placed around the water meter �ng enough that the water meter can be removed withaut di�connecting the jumper. The driven ground shall be a continuous length of 5/8 inch copper clad steel rod driven into the ground not less than 8 feet. The connect ion Prom the meter socket to the driven copper clad steel ground rod shall be minimum No. 4 copper wire from the neutral bar or lug in the meter socket to the driven ground rod. The copper wire shall be installed in rigid nonmetallic conduit, properly connected to the meter socket and extending into the ground not less than 6 inches below grakde. The rigid nonmetallic conduit shall be supported by not less than one approved clamp to the struc- ture. The Inspection Division may approVe alternate grounding methods when such cannot pxacticably be done as prescribed herein. * � � Section 36. When electrical equipment is installed in multi- unit dwelling structures, whether apartments or condominiums, ser- vice equipment wiring shall be placed in approved rigid conduit, and feeder and subfeeder circuit wiring shall be placed in approved electrical metallic tu bing, however branch circuits in individual dwelling units may be wired with approved grounded non-metallic sheathed cable. � � * Section 2. That the provisi ons of said Ordinance No. 5054, as here� to�ore amended, not otherwise amended by this ordinance be, and the same are hereby, continued in full force and affect.
