Dear Mr. Goltermann: Pursuant to your recent request my associate, Edward A. Schroeder, and I have made a personal inspection of that portion of West Packarc# •Street locat�ed between S.B. I . Route No. 48 on the East and N. Fairview on the West for the purpose of estimating what compensation you should pay to the City of Decatur for vacating the above street. Our opinion as far as what compensation you should pay is based on what benefits will accrue to you from the vacation. The area to be vacated is described as follows: Commencing at a point on the West right-of-way line of Illinois State Bond Issue Route No. 48 as same now exists, where same intersects with the South line of Lot Nine (9) in Block Four (4) of Hill ' s Second Addition of Outlots to the City of Decatur, Illinois, as per Plat recorded in Book 536, page 24 of the Records in the Recorder ' s Office of Macon County, Illinois, thence Southwesterly atong the Westerly right-of-way line of said Illinois State Bond Issue Route No. 48 as same now exists, to the point of intersection with the North line of Lot Seventeen (17) _ in Block Nine (9) of said Hill ' s Second Addition: thence .
