The compensation for the services rendered under Paragraph 2 shall be Thirty Percent (3d%) of the above determined basic fee. (b) The compensation for the services rendered under the provisions of Paragraph 1 shall be due and payable quarterly on estimates made by the Engineer and in proportion to the estimated percentage of completion of the services to be rendered in accord- ance with the provisions of said Paragraph 1 (sub-paragraph a and b) . (c) The compensation for the services rendered under the provisions of Paragraph 2 (sub-paragraphs a and b) shall be due and payable from time to time during the progress of construction of said improvements and in amounts proportional to the value of the work performed in the construction of said project from month to month. (d) Final payment for services rendered under the provisions of Paragraph 1 and 2 shall be due and payable upon the completion of said improvements. Abandonment Paragraph 4 - It is hereby understood and agreed that should the of Work City abandon the improvements for reasons beyond its control , and on which it has ordered detailed plans, specifications and estimates, or shall be compelled to terminate any other work before the completion thereof at a point where the amount of the fees due the Engineer cannot be determined on a percentage basis, in accordance with the provisions of the foregoing paragraphs of this Contract, then the Engineer shall be entitled to and shall receive a reasonable fee for the services actually rendered on such improvements up to the time the improvements are ordered abandoned and the engineering work thereby discontinued. Revision of Paragraph 5 - It is hereby understood and agreed that if the said Plans detailed plans, specifications and estimates of cost are presented to the City and have been approved by the City and the said detailed plans, specifications and estimates of cost are thereafter substantially khanged, or revised, for any reason other than the fault of the Engineer in pre- paring same, then the Engineer shall be entitled to and shall receive a reasonable additional compensation for said revisions, which amount shall be due and payable upon the completion of said revisions.
