5577 GRANTING SPECIAL USE PERMIT - NURSING HOME (CHRISTIAN HOMES, INC. AND OTHERS)

4 . 2 Section 2, That upon the conditions hereinafter mentioned an R-2 Special Use Permit to construct, maintain and operate a nurs- ing home upon the premises aforesaid be, and the same is hereby, granted said petitioners, Section 3. That said permit be, and it is hereby, condi- tioned as provided in Section XXI. A. 1(1-6 ) of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Decatur, Illinois, the same bein g Ordinance No. 3512, as amended, a nd upon the further condition that the nursing home here- by permitted be licensed by and meet all the applicable rules and re- gulations of the State of Illinois in force from time to time with re- gard to the construction, maintenance and operation of such facility. Section 4. That said permit be , and it is hereby, further conditioned as follows: (a ) That the site for said nursing home be developed and the parking lots, building, water ma in and fire hydrants be constructed and placed on said site as shown by the site plan thereof bearing re- vision date 1-September-197I, a copy of which is hereto attached and hereby made a part hereof. (b) That petitioners cause to be conveyed to the City of � Decatur, Illinois, for future public use the East 40 feet of said pre- mises, � (c) That before applying for a building permit for said nurs- I� ing home petitioners cause to be prepared detailed plans and specifica- i tions including design data for sanitary sewers, water mains, surface Hrater drainage and drains, driveways, parking lots and driveuray entrances I and submit the same to and obtain the approval in writing of the Director of Public Works of the City of Decatur, Illinois of said plans and speci- fications and of that which is shown therein. 'I (d) That petitioners cause the facilities mentioned in Para- I, graph (c) hereof to be constructed in compliance with said approved plans and specifications. I� (e) That said nursing home be provided with a fire sprinkler I system approved by the Building Inspection Division and the Fire Depart- ment of the City. (f) That the driveways and entrances to said premises be so constructed as to accommodate a 45 foot aerial ladder fire truck and pro- vide access to the building by such equipment. (g) That a fire alarm system connected to the Fire Department Dispatch Center be provided for and maintained in said building.
