The Comrdittee shall from time to <br /> time establish such sub-committees as it determines necessary to study the <br /> several ele:nents of said workable program, wnich sub-coramittees sha11 meet in <br /> work sessions betv�2n rne2tings of the Committee and shall zepozt o n the results <br /> of their efforts during such sessions to the meetings of the Cornmittee. The <br /> Committee may elicit the participation of its sub-committees of citizsns who <br /> have special competence or special interest in th� area of activity of such <br /> sub-committee. <br />, Section 7. In the election of the off icers o� ths Committes provided <br /> for herein, the Comnittee shall appoint 3 of its memb�rs to submit a slats of <br /> candidates for each position, to be submitted to the Committee for the election <br /> of such officers. <br /> Section 8. In addition to prompt filing with the City Clerk of all <br /> records and actions of the Committe2, the Co��nittee shall regularly report in <br /> writing not less than quarterly to the City Council all its acts, doings, progrQss ' <br /> a nd recommendations in connection with its purpose and dutiQs. Any recommenda- � <br /> tions made to the City Council shall be made in person by the Chairman of the II <br /> Committee or his designated representative. '� <br /> Section 9. _ The Committee shall adopt by-laws for the conduct of its <br /> business. <br /> Section 10. The Committee shall, where applicable and as nearly as <br /> may be, follow the suggestions and suggested procedures set out in publications <br /> and guides from time to time issued by the Department of Housing and Urban <br /> Development. <br /> � <br />
