City staff recommends approval. <br /> BACKGROUND: This is the beginning of the process seeking court-ordered demolition of <br /> unsafe and abandoned structures throughout the community. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTIONS: None anticipated at this time. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: Legal Department staff. <br /> STAFF REFERENCES: Any questions may be forwarded to Tim Gleason at <br /> TGleasongdecaturil.gov or 217-424-2801, Wendy Morthland at wmorthland aAdecaturil.gov or <br /> 217-424-2807 or Susan Kretsinger at skretsingerAdecaturil.gov or 217-424-2783. <br /> BUDGET/TIME IMPLICATIONS: The source of funding of these demolitions will be <br /> determined at the time Judgments are obtained. This action can vary, but is usually completed in <br /> six (6) months from initiating the case, unless the case is contested through the courts and <br /> dependent on funding. <br />
