Council Demo Narrative <br /> April 2017 <br /> 1502 N. Church. This property was posted as Unfit for Human Habitation in August 2015 after <br /> a fire damaged most of the structure. There was significant structural damage to the property. It <br /> was subsequently acquired by the Macon County Trustee who attempted to sale the property at <br /> auction in 2016 with no success. The water service was disconnected on April 29, 2015 and the <br /> utilities have been removed. <br /> 1060 E. Grand. This is the commercial warehouse at the corner of Grand and Illinois Streets <br /> that burned in January 2015. Water and utilities have been terminated to the property. It <br /> remains a pile of brick and debris. <br /> 1636 E. Grand. This case is on a garage only. A large limb fell onto the garage during a storm <br /> in July 2016, causing significant structure damage. There are no utilities to the structure. <br /> 114 S. Hilton. This property was posted Unfit for Human Habitation in March 2016 after a fire <br /> damaged most of the structure. There was significant structural damage to the property. The <br /> water service was disconnected on March 21, 2007 and the utilities have been removed. <br /> 856 S. Illinois. This property was posted as Unfit for Human Habitation in April 2015 after a <br /> fire damaged most of the structure. There was significant structural damage to the property. The <br /> water service was disconnected on April 23, 2015 and the utilities have been removed. <br /> 239 S. Jasper. This property was posted as Unfit for Human Habitation on February 28, 2017. <br /> A hole in the roof of the main structure has allowed water to enter causing significant damage to <br /> the walls, floors and ceilings. A garage at this location is also severely deteriorated. The water <br /> service was disconnected on January 23, 2014 and the utilities have been locked in the off <br /> position. <br /> 757 E. Lincoln. This property was posted as Unfit for Human Habitation on December 7, 2015 <br /> after a fire damaged the interior of the property and the roof. The water service was <br /> disconnected on May 29, 2015 and the utilities have been removed. <br /> 725 S. Maffit. This property was posted as Unfit for Human Habitation on August 26, 2016. <br /> There is an open hole in the roof that has allowed moisture to enter causing significant damage to <br /> the floors, ceilings and walls. The foundation is crumbling and most of the plumbing has been <br /> removed from the structure. The water service was disconnected on August 13, 2014 and the <br /> utilities have been locked in the off position. <br /> 1653 E. North. This property was posted as Unfit for Human Habitation on July 21, 2014. The <br /> property owner is deceased with no will or probate filed. The water service was disconnected <br /> on January 23, 2014 and the gas and electric utilities have been locked. There is a hole in the <br />
