ORDINANCE NO. 7I����'I� <br /> ORDINANCE P120HIBITING TitiTCi�TRAFFIC ON EAST HICKOIZY STREET BETVVEEN <br /> NORTH 221o1D S'I'12EET AND NORTH 231� STI�ET' <br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF I�ECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That when appropriate signs are erected giving notice thereof, all trucks or other <br /> vehicles of the Second Division, as defined by the Illinois Vehicle Code, which have a Class C or <br /> higher letter(greater weight) license from the State of Illinois, or equivalent weight licenses issued by <br /> another state, are prohibited and excluded from the use of East Hickory Street from its intersection <br /> with North 22nd Street east to its intersection with North 23rd Street; provided, that, such prohibition <br /> of use shall not extend to fire, police or other emergency vehicles, public works vehicles in the <br /> performance of maintenance work, school buses, and trucks which have a Class C or higher letter <br /> (greater weight) license which are making service calls or deliveries to residences or businesses located <br /> on said street. <br /> Section 2.
