RESOLUTION NO. RESOLUTION INCORPORATING AMENDMENT OF DECATUR PUBLIC LIBRARY BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2022 WHEREAS,the City of Decatur passed the 2022 Budget Ordinance on December 6, 2021; and, WHEREAS,the Library Board of Trustees approved the Library request to replace book shelving in the library facility at the Library Board meeting of May 19, 2022. NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR,ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the approved Budget for Fiscal Year 2022 be and is amended, and the Amendment of the Decatur Public Library Budget for$250,000 as set forth in the Library Capital Fund(#58)is hereby appropriated in the fiscal year ending December 31, 2022 and set apart within the designated funds for expenditures. Section 2. That the additional $250,000 in monies available in the Library Capital Fund balance as determined by the Board of Trustees of the Decatur Public Library shall be used to defray the costs for acquisition of new shelving for storage and display of the reading material collection. Section 3. That other than the amendments contained in this Ordinance, the 2022 Budget Ordinance shall remain in full force and effect. Section 4. That the City Clerk be and is hereby authorized and directed to cause the provisions hereof to be appropriately published and this Amendment to the 2022 Budget Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
