M RESOLUTION NO. R2025- , RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH PRECISION PRO LLC FOR THE RESIDENTIAL EXTERIOR IMPROVEMENTS AT 2164 N. WATER ST. WHEREAS,the City of Decatur ("the City")has created a Residential Exterior Improvement Program (the "Program")for owner occupied housing improvements; and, WHEREAS, the Program's eligible improvements include items such as roofing, siding, gutters,gutter guards, soffit, fascia,window wrapping, brush removal and fence repair; and, WHEREAS, the invitation to bid was provided to those contractors that explicitly expressed interest to the Economic and Community Development Department; and, WHEREAS,the City will expend Five Hundred Ninety-Eight Thousand Three Hundred Sixty-One and 00/100 Dollars($598,361.00) and a Fifteen (15) percent contingency for the improvements of eleven(11)housing units. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR,ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the Tabulation of bids received for the project located at 2164 N. Water St., and presented to the Council herewith,be received and placed on file. Section 2. That the bid of Precision Pro LLC, in the amount of Fifty-Six Thousand Five Hundred Eighty-Six and 00/100 Dollars ($56,586.00) along with a Fifteen (15) percent contingency be accepted, and an agreement awarded accordingly. Section 3. That the City Manager or his designee be,and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute an agreement between the City of Decatur, Illinois, and Precision Pro LLC, attached hereto as Exhibit A and made part hereof.
