RESOLUTION NO. R 2015-60 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING WEED REMOVAL CONTRACT <br /> - JAMES GAHWILER- <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Decatur solicited bids to hire private contractors to <br /> provide weed removal and mowing services on lots owned by the Macon County <br /> Trustee which have been divided into 21 districts; and, <br /> WHEREAS, Districts 15 and 16 were awarded to James Gahwiler; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the services provided shall extend to December 31, 2016. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the City of Decatur, Illinois is hereby, authorized and directed to <br /> make payment to James Gahwiler, upon receipt of invoice for said weed removal at $45 <br /> per mowing in District 15 and $40 per mowing in District 16, for an estimated annual <br /> cost of Seventeen Thousand Four Hundred Ninety Dollars ($17,490.00) and a total two- <br /> year cost of approximately Thirty-Four Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty Dollars <br /> ($34,980.00). <br /> PRESENTED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of May 2015. <br /> ICHAEL cEL OY MAYOR <br /> ATTEST: <br /> 4& cc.. v- <br /> CITY CLE <br />
