RESOLUTION NO. R2009-246 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPOINTMENT OF <br /> FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ADMINISTRATORS <br /> WHEREAS, the Freedom of Information Act was extensively amended, with said <br /> amendments to become effective January 1, 2010; and, <br /> WHEREAS, one amendment to the Act requires the appointment of Freedom of <br /> Information Officers; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Decatur will designate said officers as Administrators. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to appoint <br /> a minimum of two (2) Freedom of Information Administrators pursuant to said recent <br /> amendment to the Act. <br /> Section 2.
