R2009-164 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID AND AUTHORIZING <br /> THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT FOR <br /> VARIOUS STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENTS 2009 <br /> CITY PROJECT 09-20 <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the tabulation of bids received for City Project 09-20, Various <br /> Storm Sewer Improvements 2009 Project, and presented to the Council herewith be, and <br /> it is hereby, received and placed on file. <br /> Section 2. That the bid of $95,139.00 be accepted and a contract be awarded, <br /> accordingly, to Entler Excavating Company, Inc. <br /> Section 3. Furthermore, that a change order to said contract is hereby authorized <br /> to increase the project in the amount of$40,000.00. <br /> Section 4. That the additions in the above-described agreements are germane to <br /> said contract and such changes are in the best interest of the City of Decatur and are <br /> authorized by law. <br /> Section 5. That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and <br /> directed to execute such documents as are necessary to effect a contract between the City <br /> of Decatur, Illinois, and Entler Excavating Company, Inc., for a total amount not to <br /> exceed $135,139.00; which is their bid price of $95,139.00 plus a change order in the <br /> amount of$40,000.00. <br /> PRESENTED and ADOPTED this 8th day of September 2009. <br /> � � � f,, <br /> > ; <br /> ,' <br /> M AEL T.
