R2009-115 <br /> RESOLUTION FOR RESTORATION OF <br /> GARFIELD AVENUE BRIDGE OVER CNIC TRACKS <br /> BY MUNICIPALITY UNDER THE ILLINOIS HIGHWAY CODE <br /> BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Decatur, Illinois, that there is <br /> hereby appropriated the additional sum of $200,000.00, for a total appropriated sum of <br /> $380,000.00 in Motor Fuel Tax funds, for the purpose of repairing the Garfield Avenue Bridge <br /> over CNIC Tracks under the applicable provisions of the Illinois Highway Code. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proposed improvement will consist of <br /> reconstructing Piers 3 and 6 and performing other repairs as needed to the Garfield Avenue <br /> Bridge over the CNIC Railroad known as Section No. 08-00503-00-BR. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk shall immediately transmit two certified <br /> copies of this resolution to the district office of the Department of Transportation, at Effingham, <br /> Illinois. <br /> PRESENTED and ADOPTED this 6`h day of July, 2009. <br /> � <br /> � . - i <br /> /�l <br /> I A .
