R2009-80 <br /> RESOLUTION FOR AUTHORIZATION OF <br /> INTERGOVERNMF.NTAL AGREEMENT FOR THE SHARING OF CERTAIN <br /> COSTS RELATED TO IMPROVEMENT OF COUNTY HIGHWAY 50 BETWEEN <br /> LAKE SHORE DRIVE AND COUNTRY CLUB ROAD IN DECATUR, <br /> MACON COUNTY, ILLINOIS, BETWEEN THE CITY OF DECATUR <br /> AND THE COUNTY OF MACON, ILLINOIS <br /> WHEREAS, this resolution authorizes the City of Decatur to enter into an <br /> Intergovernmental Agreement with the County for the Improvement of County Highway 50 <br /> between Lake Shore Drive and County Club Road Project, known as State Section 09-00907- <br /> FP; and <br /> WHEREAS, in compliance with the aforementioned Intergovernmental Agreement, it <br /> is necessary for the City of Decatur to appropriate sufficient funds to pay its share of the cost <br /> of said construction work. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of Four Hundred Seventy <br /> Five Thousand, and 00 cents ($475,000) or so much thereof as may be necessary, from any <br /> money now or hereinafter allotted to the City to pay the cost of the construction work as <br /> described in the Agreement. <br /> Section 2.
