, i � . . � ORDINANCE NO. 2007-19 ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY COD - CHAPTER 67 - - BUILDING CODE - BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TH . CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. 7'hat Chapter 67 of the City Code of the City of D catur be, and the same is hereby, amended and modified at Section 2, Section 3 (B). 6, 7 (h) (j), (1), (m), (n) and (o), Section 4, and 14 thereof, so that said Sections 2, 3 (B), 6, 7 (h), (j), O, (m), (n), and (o) and 14 and renumbering Sections 15 to 21 inclusive, as amended, shall provid as follows: 2. BUILDING CODE. The same having been d ly placed and remained on filed as required by law, and subiect to he additions, modifications, changes or deletions set out in this C apter, 2006 International Building Code the same being found and d clared by the Council to be regulations as defined by applicable statute, is ereby adopted by reference and the same to be known, and which may be cit d, as the "The Building Code" of the City, and which shall have the scope a applicability as therein set out, except as modified by-th�; provisions of this hapter. 3. SUBSTITUTIONS (B) Whenever in said uilding Code any of the other codes listed first in each of subsections (i) thr ugh (v) hereof is mentioned, such code shall be deleted therefrom and t e code listed immediately thereafter said subsection shall be substituted in ieu thereof, as indicated, and said Code shall be taken and construed as if s ch latter code were expressly so set out therein: (i) International Electric Code, to be replaced b� ihe Nati nal Electrical Code, 2005 Edition of the National Fire Protection As�ociation; (ii) International Plumbing Code, to be replaced by the Plumbing ode 1998 of the State of Illinois Department of Public Health; (iii) Intern tional Private
