R2002-137 <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT <br /> SENECA COMPANIES <br /> -UNDERGROUND TANK MONITORING SYSTEM- <br /> WHEREAS, bids were requested for improvements to Transit's underground tank <br /> monitoring system as mandated by the State Fire Marshal's office; and <br /> WHEREAS, the lowest bidder was Seneca Companies with a bid of$16,876.95; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the tabulation of the bids submitted for improvements to Transit's <br /> underground tank monitoring system,be received and placed on file. <br /> Section 2. That the bid of Seneca Companies be accepted and a contract be awarded <br /> accordingly. <br /> Section 3. That the City Manager and the City Clerk of the City of Decatur be, and they <br /> are hereby, authorized and directed to execute a contract between the City of Decatur, Illinois, <br /> and Seneca Companies for improvements to Transit's underground tank monitoring system. <br /> PRESENTED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of July, 2002. <br /> RRY M.
