1 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. R2002-89 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH <br /> PROGRESSIVE TRANSPORTATION SERVICES,INC. <br /> WHEREAS, the City and Progressive Transportation Services, Inc., entered into an <br /> Agreement, effective as of December 1, 1999,with an expiration date of June 30, 2001; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Agreement between the City and Progressive Transportation Services, <br /> Inc., specifies that "Three pre-priced option years may be exercised at the sole discretion of the <br /> City of Decatur"; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City and Progressive Transportation Services, Inc., exercised the first <br /> year option and extended the term of the Agreement to June 30, 2002; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City and Progressive Transportation Services, Inc., desire to exercise the <br /> second year option and to extend the term of the Agreement to June 30, 2003. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the Amendment to the Agreement presented to the Council herewith <br /> between the City of Decatur and Progressive Transportation Services, Inc., be, and the same is <br /> hereby,received, placed on file and approved. <br /> Section 2. That the City Manager and City Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and <br /> directed to sign, seal and attest said Amendment on behalf of the City of Decatur. <br /> PRESENTED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of May, 2002. <br /> �� <br /> ERRY M.
