R2002-82 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID <br /> ROSS AND WHITE COMPANY <br /> - BUS WASHER UPGRADES - <br /> WHEREAS, bids were opened on Apri129th, 2002, for the purchase of an under carriage <br /> bus washer and wheel washer spinner assembly, including installation, plus optional additional <br /> anti-hammer water valves,with two bids received; and ' <br /> WHEREAS, the lowest bidder was Ross and White Company with a bid of$21,035.00; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, Ross and White Company has been found to be a qualified and responsible <br /> firm, and competent to perform the work required. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the tabulation of the bids submitted for furnishing an under carriage bus <br /> washer and wheel washer spinner assembly, including installation, plus optional additional <br /> anti-hammer water valves,be received and placed on file. <br /> Section 2. That the bid of Ross and White Company be accepted and a purchase order be <br /> awarded accordingly. <br /> Section 3. That the City Manager and the City Clerk of the City of Decatur be, and they <br /> are hereby, authorized and directed to execute a purchase order between the City of Decatur, <br /> Illinois, and Ross and White Company for the purchase of an under carriage bus washer and <br /> wheel washer spinner assembly, including installation, as specified in the solicitation for bids, at <br /> their bid price of$21,035.00. <br /> PRESENTEI� AND ADOPTED this 6th day of May, 2002. <br /> �._----.-' <br /> Y M.
