�l1CR0�;: ORDINANCE NO . B�-y' �i;�;;��F►(,NiE� ORDINANCE FURTHER MODIFYING PROPERTY MAINTENANCE CODE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS : Section 1 . That, in addition to the modifications thereto provided in Ordinance 82-89 , the BOCA Basic Property Maintenance Code be, and the same is hereby, further modified at Section PM-106. 2 thereof by substituting a period after the word "code" in item 4 thereof and deleting the remainder of said Section. Section 2 . That said Code be, and the same is hereby, I further amended and modified at Section PM-106.3 thereof so I that said Section as so amended sha11 provide as follows : "PM-106. 3 Service. Such notice shall be deemed to � be properly served if a copy thereof is delivered personally to the person to whom it is directed; or, if directed to an entity other than a natural person, if delivered to any member, employee or agent thereof, or by leaving the same at the abode of such person, or at the business address of such entity with a person of the age of 13 years or upwards , and informing that person of the contents thereof, and thereafter mailin� a copy with postage fully prepaid addressed to said person or entity at such place of abode or business ; or, by postage fully prepaid first class mail; or, if such notice after mailing is returned to the sender for reason other than inadequate postage, by posting a copy thereof in a conspicuous place in or on the affected structure . " Section 3 . That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause this ordinance to be publi,shed in pamphlet form.
