See the attached location map. <br /> Initial inspections of the sewer indicated some flow line deterioration, water infiltration through joints <br /> with some separated joints, and cracks. Inspection photos depicting the general condition of the McKinley Avenue Sewer. <br /> Rehabilitation Plan <br /> The total rehabilitation cost including engineering and construction inspection was originally estimated <br /> at$583,000 in the Facilities Plan Summary. The original inspections were completed in 2008 with <br /> partial videos, some additional televised inspections were needed to finish and verify the condition. The <br /> new inspection videos used High Definition cameras that revealed greater damage in the sewers than <br /> was originally believed. Figure 3 shows the change in image from 2008 to 2014 using the high <br /> definition sewer inspection cameras. <br /> The design of the McKinley Sewer was started as a combination project with the 7th Ward Sewer but <br /> was put on hold as the rehabilitation costs for 7th Ward Sewer increased. The design was at <br /> approximately 70%when the McKinley portion of the project was put on hold and the project was <br /> separate. The updated costs to rehabilitate the McKinley Sewer are in Table 1 below. <br /> Page 13 <br />
