The $173,000 requested in Change Order No 1 addresses all current requirements by the US <br /> EPA and the ACO and is required for the City to adequately respond to the requirements of the <br /> US EPA. Change order No 1 will also provide an additional contingency for future CMOM and <br /> SCSAA revisions. <br /> SCHEDULE: The City has currently negotiated with the EPA to complete all engineering and <br /> construction required by the ACO by December 31,2020. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: None <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: United States Environmental Protection Agency, <br /> AECOM and the Legal Department. <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Richard Marley, Public Works Director; Richard Marley will be in <br /> attendance at the City Council meeting to answer any questions of the Council on this item. <br /> LEGAL REVIEW: The contract was approved by the Legal Department on Wednesday, <br /> September 27, 2017. <br /> BUDGET/TIME IMPLICATIONS: <br /> Budget Impact: Funding to complete the requirements of the ACO will be from the Sanitary <br /> Sewer Fund which is supported by the sewer user charge. <br /> Compliance efforts will be multi-year and budgeting for the yearly efforts are shown in the <br /> Capital Improvements Plan, <br /> The AECOM fee not to exceed $629,620 and is allocated in the Sanitary Sewer Fund. <br /> Staffing Impact: Staff time is allocated to manage the ACO requirements. <br /> Attach: 4 <br />
