EXHIBIT B Schedule 1 • Removal or replacement of ceiling tiles is not included. • Work in or around Asbestos contaminated areas is excluded. • All electrical wiring other than that required for ballast replacement within the existing lighting fixtures is excluded. • It is assumed that the present system meets the lighting code. If the existing system fails to meet NEC requirements, we will contact the customer. Any required changes or upgrades are not covered by JCI. • The addition of fixtures in "poorly lit" areas is not covered under this "Scope of Work" unless otherwise noted. • It is assumed that the existing fixtures are not security grade fixtures. (Tamperproof, locking fastener type lens or door frame). • Existing fixtures are in a well-maintained condition. (Not rusted or brittle). • Pricing is valid for 90 days from the quotation date. Executed contract and product submittal approval is required prior to procurement of materials. • All work done in accordance with industry standards and approved safety practices. Professional performance by licensed, insured and certified personnel skilled in lighting retrofit services. • All work performed during normal business hours, 40 hours work week, Monday through Friday; weekends or overtime not included. • All circuit breakers, contactors and switches are assumed operational. • JCI shall be given ample notice for security clearance procedures required for access to any facility included in the scope of work. • The street lighting portion is proposed as a one to one replacement based upon the existing fixture type, i.e. existing cobrahead luminaires will be replaced with the LED equivalent. Decorative luminaires will be replaced with the LED equivalent and housing shall be same appearance as existing and as approved by the Customer. • If specified materials become either temporarily or permanently unavailable for reasons beyond the control of JCI, then the expected time for performance of the work will be extended to the extent of unavailability and we reserve the right to provide Customer approved equivalent substitutions at no price increase. • After 1st year, Warranty Labor is to be the responsibility of the owner, who will assign a maintenance contractor or perform the maintenance with city staff. • Warranty after year 1 will be Manufacturer's warranty for materials only. • Manufacturer warranties of lamps and fixtures installed and components are covered by the individual manufacturers published policies. JCI will furnish contact information for each manufacturer and warranty information for approval by the Customer. Alleged defective product may be required for return to factory for analysis. • Customer is tax exempt and must provide JCI with exemption certificate. • Electrical permits and fees are not included • Cost for replacement of existing wiring and/or electrical issues in interior/exterior fixtures is not included. If defects are found these will be documented by JCI and the Customer is to be notified. • Cost for repair or replacement of yellowed, cracked, damaged or missing fixture lenses, louvers or other components has not been included. • JCI will record field issues related to: condition of wiring in poles, missing or corroded fasteners, broken or damaged poles/fixtures. Recordings will be input in the JCI Worksite and made available to the Customer. • JCI shall provide repairs within 5 days after notification if JCI is mobilized on site or within 10 days after notification if JCI is not mobilized on site. • Any difference in fixture type and quantities will be adjusted and invoiced for actual install and the savings will be adjusted accordingly only within the contract limits.
