August 1, 2018 <br /> Mr. Tim Dudley, City of Decatur <br /> Former Filling Station <br /> IEPA Site Remediation Proposal <br /> Page 2 <br /> Remedial Action Completion Report/No Further Remediation Letter - Once the <br /> remediation is complete, we will prepare a Remedial Action Completion Report (RACR) for <br /> submittal to the TEPA. Once reviewed and approved, a Draft NFR letter will be provided <br /> for our review. Once reviewed and notified, IEPA will issue the final NFR letter that will <br /> need to be recorded with the property's deed. A certified copy of the recorded NFR letter <br /> will then be provided to the TEPA. <br /> Services not included in this proposal include: <br /> • SRP review fees (estimated to be $10,000), directly paid by the client. <br /> • Active Remedial activities for groundwater, soil or soil gas. <br /> • Additional work required by IEPA. <br /> • Edits to any documents based on client or buyer comments. <br /> • Private location services for subsurface utilities. We assume the plant will know <br /> the location of its private underground utilities. <br /> • Additional drilling and/or sampling that may be required by IEPA. <br /> • Disposal of any investigation derived waste. <br /> • Meetings with developers, bankers, attorneys or other parties about the work <br /> completed. <br /> The fees for the above services are provided below: <br /> Work Plan $1,500 <br /> Site Investigation Activities (up to two days) $3,000 <br /> Prepare SIR/ROR/RAP* $15,000 <br /> Remedial Action Completion Report/No Further Remediation Letter $4,500 <br /> TOTAL $24,000 <br /> In the event IEPA would not require a complete SIR/ROR/RAP the fee could be reduced. <br /> If this proposal meets your approval, please sign the enclosed Agreement for Professional <br /> Services and return to our office.
