Exhibit A <br /> MSE Retainin�Walls <br /> Mechanically Stabilized Earth Retaining(MSE)walls will be used to retain earth fill at both approaches to <br /> the bridge over NS Railroad/Faries Parkway. <br /> Miscellaneous Structure Desi�n <br /> There is an existing retaining wall along the CN/ICRR at south-west quadrant of the intersection of <br /> Brush College Road and Faries Parkway. The proposed MSE wall appears to be very close to this <br /> existing sheet pile wall. This task will verify if any surcharge loads are imposed to the existing wall along <br /> the railroad property. Hours have been included for modifications to this wall if needed. <br /> CN Railroad Track Realignment <br /> Railroad track realignment is required for approximately 1000 feet of the CN Railroad just north of Faries <br /> Parkway along the west side of Brush College Road. <br /> Roadway Li�hting <br /> Design calculations and plans will be developed for roadway lighting along Brush College Road. The <br /> documents will define the electrical work required for the installation of new roadway and underpass lighting <br /> systems for Brush College Road(BCR)from Station 50+00 to Station 78+00,the Jug Handle connector and <br /> �ve associated intersections.It is anticipated that the Township lighting along Faries Parkway will not be <br /> impacted by this project and will not be included in the lighting design. <br /> Traffic Signal and Railroad Warning Lights and Gates Improvements <br /> Two permanent traffic signal locations are anticipated for this project.The intersections are,Faries Parkway <br /> with the new Jug Handle Connector Ramp and Brush College Road with the new Jug Handle Connector � <br /> Ramp. <br /> Railroad warning lights and gates will be designed for two locations. Faries Parkway across the CN tracks <br /> and the new Harrison Avenue West intersection across the CN track. <br /> Waterway Permitting <br /> Prepare Section 404/401 Permit Applications—It is anticipated that a joint 404 Nationwide Permit will be sought <br /> for this project for intermittent stream crossings. <br /> Prepare a Section 402 NPDES Permit—A NPDES permit for stormwater discharges including a Storm Water <br /> Pollution Prevention Plan(SWPPP)will be prepared. <br /> Scope 9-21-18 A-5 <br />
