WHEREAS, the Parties have determined that it is in their respective best <br /> interests, as well as the best interests of the residents and public served by the <br /> Parties, for the City of Decatur to lease its ladder truck to the City of Charleston. <br /> NOW THEREFORE IN CONSIDERATION OF the mutual covenants <br /> herein contained and for such other good and valuable consideration, the receipt <br /> of which is hereby acknowledged, the Parties hereby agree, covenant, and <br /> promise as follows: <br /> 1. INCORPORATION OF RECITALS: <br /> The recitals in the foregoing preamble are hereby incorporated in this <br /> Intergovernmental Lease Agreement by reference, and all covenants, terms, and <br /> conditions of this Intergovernmental Lease Agreement shall be construed and <br /> enforced in conformity therewith. <br /> 2. DESCRIPTION OF LEASED PROPERTY: <br /> 1994 Pierce Lance Ladder Truck, VIN #4P1 CT02G5RA000363, including <br /> ground ladders, in fair to good condition, no operational concerns, minor steering <br /> box leak. <br /> 3. TERM: <br /> The term of this Intergovernmental Lease Agreement shall be ninety (90) <br /> days, commencing on the �W+�day of � i�, 2019. This Intergovernmental <br /> Lease Agreement shall expire on the 90th day following commencement, or upon <br /> such earlier time as the Parties shall in writing agree. The period from the <br /> commencement date to the termination date shall be hereinafter referred to as <br /> the "Lease Term" <br /> 3 <br />
