Alternate I will remove the existing pavement east af the Prairie Street entrance and replace it all

<br /> Alternate 3 wil3 retair�the existing pavement east of the Prairie Street entrance but will overlay it
<br /> with a new layer of asphatt, This alternate will provide 106 ernployee, overflow or event parking.
<br /> Alternate 4 is similar to alternate 2 but will leave the remaining partion af pavement unchanged,
<br /> There will be no overlay of new asphalt, This alternate will not provide new paint, but parking wili
<br /> be comparable to the amount of stalls in aitert�ate 2

<br /> The project scope and specifications were prepared by the Engineering Division. The project was
<br /> advertised on June 12,2019,and bids were opened on July 3,2019, The results of the letting are as

<br /> Seven cantractors taak out bid packages and attended the pre-bid meeting. Three af those submitted
<br /> bids with ane of those heing nan-responsive.
<br /> The City also issued one addendurn that was not distributed to the plan holders by the City's plan
<br /> d'zstribution service due to a processing error. Staff feels the informatian pravided in the addendum
<br /> is not critical ta the contract and was anly prcrvided for informatianal purposes. The infarmation
<br /> provided a suznmary of the zneeting minutes of the prebid meeting that was attended by ali bidders
<br /> and pravided clarification of how a cQuple af special provisions wili be paid.
